CHESTERFIELD: Alpha Heating Innovation’s John Binney has been promoted to national sales manager with immediate effect.
Mr Binney, who joined Alpha in November 1998 as an area sales manager, has been regional sales manager for the North of England and Scotland since the middle of 2006.
He previously spent 18 years at British Gas, serving an initial five year apprenticeship, followed by a further six years as a qualified heating engineer. Mr Binney then took on his first sales role, spending his final seven years at the company selling central heating systems to homeowners.
Responsible for Alpha’s sales operation to installers and merchants, Mr Binney will have a total of 10 technical sales managers reporting to him.
