LEAMINGTON SPA: Baumatic, manufacturer of quality appliances for the kitchen, has signed a deal with Wolseley to distribute its popular Premium-line and Slim-line appliance ranges.
To celebrate this new alliance, Baumatic took part in Wolseley’s BCG Big Tour last month, taking to the road to showcase its appliance line-up to potential customers at five venues around the UK.
Baumatic turned heads with its concept yellow oven which had been specially designed in keeping with the theme of the event, with one given away to BCG’s chosen charity, Action for Children, at each leg of the roadshow. BCG’s regional managers and Baumatic staff were also on hand at each location to introduce the latest products to the trade, with positive feedback being received throughout.
Not only were the company’s appliances well accepted at each venue on the tour but there was more good news to come, with the manufacturer being nominated for two prizes at BCG’s supplier awards which took place on the last leg of the tour in Weybridge.
Premium-line, the company’s compact appliance concept, scooped runner-up in the Appliance Introduction of the Show category, while the stand itself was awarded Kitchen Stand of the Show.
“The BCG Big Tour provided us with the perfect way to cement our new partnership with Wolseley and couldn’t have gone better in terms of the fantastic feedback received from visitors throughout the tour. Scooping two award nominations gives an indication of just how good the Baumatic brand looked and how well received it was,” commented Owain Harrison, the company’s marketing director.
