SLOUGH: Dulux Trade is currently rolling-out new tinting machines and accompanying software to replace many of the company’s existing automatic machines.

Dulux Trade has developed its intuitive tinting machines with stores, for stores, making them user-friendly to enable merchant staff to have more confidence when selling colour.

The tinting machines are claimed to be among the highest performing on the market; they are cleaner, use less energy and have a faster simultaneous dispense method than other models. The company has also taken the decision to offer a ‘take-back’ scheme for merchants. When installing a new tinting machine, Dulux Trade takes the existing machine away with a view to diverting it from landfill, and to prevent merchants having to dispose of it themselves.

Speaking about the machine roll-out, Ann Noble, senior marketing manager for colour at Dulux Trade, said: “The decision to make this substantial investment to improve the tinting capabilities of merchants all over the UK forms a major part of our colour strategy.

“After a tough couple of years for all involved in the construction and RMI industries, it’s absolutely imperative that we continue to support all our customer bases, and give them the tools they need to ensure their respective businesses can thrive. As the recognised colour authority, we are in a unique position in that we can share our colour expertise with our merchant customers, helping them to become more colour confident and sell colour to their customers in turn.”
