COOKHAM: After nearly a decade of growth under the stewardship of Construction News, the Construction Marketing Awards are to become a CIMCIG-run event. CIMCIG aims to raise the bar in marketing in the construction sector, so taking on the running of an event that showcases excellence is a natural thing to do.

The Awards will once again be badged the CMAs under CIMCIG's plans, joint with the Dialogue Group. The CMAs celebrate excellence in marketing and demonstrate the innovative and creative talent within the construction sector. The 2010 Awards will be presented on 25th November 2010.

CIMCIG Chair Ian Exall supported the announcement: “Construction News did a fantastic job building up the Construction Marketing Awards and we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to take the scheme over and present a return to the familiar format for 2010.”

CIMCIG committee member, Andrew Cushing adds: “The CMAs showcase the many examples of marketing excellence across the construction industry. The awards offer the opportunity for companies operating in the sector to highlight their successes and demonstrate that marketing delivers real commercial value.”

The Awards are open to any organisation operating within the construction sector.
