Visqueen has launched new gas protection and structural waterproofing CPDs.
Available in either individual day or intensive three-day courses, all sessions are conducted at Visqueen’s Training Academy in Derbyshire and provide attendees with product training, best installation advice, and information on the latest building regulations and codes of practice. The courses are aimed at merchants, specialist contractors and installers.
General Manager and Sales Director at Visqueen Phil Bull commented: “The use of gas protection and below-ground waterproofing specialists on projects is becoming a necessity due to the continued changes to construction guidelines.
“With this in mind, we’re excited to launch our redeveloped training academy that can be tailored to the needs of specialist contractors and installers and ensure they can get hands-on with our products and see first-hand how beneficial they can be.
“Our training academy includes various different installation bays that allow attendees to gain practical experience across our extensive range of gas and water protection solutions, as well as theoretical training.
“In this industry, we have found that it is incredibly important that users have a good understanding of the updated codes and practices that are set out in the building regulations, so we ensure our training reflects this.”
After recently undertaking the training, Ross Wareham, from Prestige Air, said: “The Visqueen technical trainers really put on a great day. The course was professional and factual, but more importantly Visqueen took on board the thoughts and opinions of us, the installer.
“The training facility is brilliant, offering a hands on training experience that covers all the Visqueen extensive product ranges and installation techniques.”
