If so, the opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading Manufacturer & Processer’s of Timber & Timber Products that due to expansion and recent investment want to expand their sales team.

Our Client’s success has been built on consistency in the quality of their timber, timber products and their excellent customer service along with their comprehensive involvement in the sector, continually growing and expanding the company and their industry knowledge.   

They have Nationwide Coverage in the United Kingdom and also Ireland, and have been supplying high quality timber products to Merchants & Manufacturers. Celebrating over 100 years of success in the Timber Sector, the business is looking to continue its growth and development with the appointment of a new member of their sales team.

 

The Individual

Our Client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic timber sales professional to continue to sell into a well established customer base and also identify and develop new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with both Timber & Builders Merchants, and have knowledge of the UK Buying Groups.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with both Timber and Builders Merchants.
  • Build Sales, pursue leads and  follow up on existing enquiries and leads;
  • Travel to clients both existing and new to maintain, strengthen and develop relationships.
  • Generates new business , increase sales , and be involve in the company’s growth   

Person Specification

  • Experienced in Timber Sales ideally to Merchants
  • Highly-motivated & a team player
  • Ability to work to deadlines; and capable of planning , sourcing , and delivery of sales and profit targets
  • Substantial experience in sales and track of external sales experience
  • Organized and communicative at all levels
  • Computer literate on Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel
  • Excellent communication skills

 

Training

All necessary training in relevant aspects of our Client’s business will be provided
