With a dedicated Sales and Service team on the road to the Technical Sales and Support team in the office they are able to offer fantastic customer support. Our Clients customer base consists of the self build market, engineers, developers, architects, and builders offering both domestic and commercial solutions.

Reporting to:  Technical Director

The Role

As Technical Sales Engineer you will be part of the design/technical sales team, responsible for accurate design solutions and quotations of our Clients products as well as providing technical support on all products and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out technical sales queries and quotations for customers.
  • Follow up on quotes and keep records of customer feedback.
  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
  • Occasional site visits as and when required to assist with design/quotation process
  • Deliver product specification within the building services / heating sectors for local authorities, housing associations, developers, architects, consultants, Installers etc.
  • Work as part of a team to solve problems and provide solutions to the client.
  • Develop good relationships with customers and provide pre and after sales support.
  • Maintain comprehensive CRM records.
  • Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Energy or related technical discipline with relevant experience.
  • Excellent Communications skills.
  • Be able to work well as part of a team whilst also having the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong IT and analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Use of AutoCAD, solid works, DEAP.(Beneficial not essential)
  • Part L Building regulations.(Beneficial not essential)
  • Knowledge of building industry rules and regulations for heating, plumbing and electricity.(Beneficial not essential
  • Knowledge of BER and DEAP software.(Beneficial not essential)
