HiB has announced the appointment of quality assurance manager Neil Whitehead as part of its continued drive to uphold the highest standards of product quality.

Now active in his role at HiB, Neil has over a decade of experience in quality assurance, having worked with the likes of Walgreens Boots Alliance, and having gained multiple technical qualifications during his career to date. Neil will be responsible for overseeing all elements of product quality, including compliance, supplier approval, and technical management, including the product technical support line.

With a team of eight staff working across quality control, product support, returns and supplier quality, Neil aims to not only maintain HiB’s existing reputation for quality, but to reach even greater heights by refining existing processes and implementing innovative new quality control strategies.

Commenting on his new role, Neil said: “HiB is a business which is well-known for the quality of its products, and this is something which has been, and continues to be, key to its growth. I plan on taking a proactive approach to ensuring quality and compliance by creating a best in class team which supports every function of the business.

“Quality is about more than just the product, it’s about putting the customer at the heart of everything we do – I look forward to working with the entire HiB community and its suppliers to break new ground for quality in the bathroom sector.”

Steve Kaye, marketing director at HiB, added: “We are delighted to welcome Neil to the team, and are already benefitting from his extensive knowledge of quality management. We take pride in each and every HiB product which enters the market, and have purposely built a brand which retailers and end users know they can rely on. Under Neil’s direction we plan to take our commitment to quality even further, and look forward to working collaboratively throughout the business to achieve this.”
