Are you an experienced sales professional with knowledge of the Civils/ Drainage market? 

If so, one of the UK’s fastest growing specialist distributors of Civils and Drainage products is undergoing an exciting period of expansion and is looking to appoint a REGIONAL SALES EXECUTIVE to join their team with responsibility for the SOUTH EAST region. 

 

The Company

Our Client is an independently owned building product distribution organisation with multiple branches in the UK, specialising in the supply of drainage and groundworks materials to builders, groundworkers and civil engineers.

The Individual

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers including Groundworkers, Civil Engineers and Contractors within the South East region. 

You will be required to be proactive in seeking new business opportunities as well as managing relationships with your customers and providing, technical, product and sales support with a view to gaining product usage. 

The role will be home based with occasional travel to the Depot.  

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Open and grow new accounts meeting all customer requirements.

  • Always look for new opportunities to establish new relationships with prospective customers

  • Maintain and grow of current accounts by being the main point of contact

  • Introduce key products to new and existing customers.

  • Offer project support from beginning through to completion 

  • Maintaining in depth knowledge of current and new suppliers and their products 

  • Conduct market research and analyse competitor activity 

  • Attend regular sales meetings 

 

Job Details

  • 40 hours per week - 8.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday 

  • 28 days annual holiday entitlement

  • Very competitive basic salary (negotiable dependant on experience)
