Ideally you will have knowledge of shipping process, be interested in business development and have experience working in a busy environment.

The Role

As Shipping Administer, your role will to bring integrity to the shipping department, and to ensure all procedures and compliance are followed in a professional manner. You will also be involved in account management, developing existing and assisting bringing in new accounts.

Responsibilities

· Processing Documentation , including Commercial Invoices, Bill’s of landing, packing list

· Create import files, liaising with shipping lines, ports and devanning companies

· Logistics

· Dealing with customer enquiries, take sales orders and follow up sales enquiries.

· To develop new and existing accounts

· Passing Invoices for payment

· Stock Allocations

· General day to day office duties , i.e. filing, dealing with phone calls , stock enquiries and assisting clients

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

· Self motivated individual who can work well either on their own or in a team

· Competent IT skills

· Good communication skills with a friendly approach

· Ability to work under pressure with an excellent attention to detail is a must.

· Ideally have a knowledge of shipping and shipping processes
