Sales Manager- Crane Hire- West Midlands

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their business in the West midlands area. The Sales Manager should have an in depth and practical understanding of the Crane Hire Industry.

The Role

As the Sales Manager for West Midlands, you will be tasked with winning new business to maximise sales opportunities. You will work with senior management regarding business development strategy, communicating new and existing service developments within the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for investigating new sectors and growing the customer base.

· Proactively identify and follow up opportunities with new customers.

· Proactive, confident and the drive to create negotiate and close commercial agreements.

· Call existing customers to ensure our Client is delivering a high-quality service logging all call information and handling complaints.

· Establish close working relationships with the Depot Team and ensure that customer’s service requirements are understood and implemented in line with their expectations.

Person Specification

· Crane Hire /Plant Hire Experience desirable

· 3 years + Field Sales Experience

· Proven Track Record with strong relationships/ recommendations within the Industry

· Proactive, New Business Focused, Self-Motivated, Driven, Strong Integrity, Team Player!

· MS office is desirable

· High degree of accuracy

· Ability to prioritise issues

· Excellent communication skills (verbal / written)

· Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organization
