The Company

Our client is a respected independent specialist distributor of insulation and drywall systems that provide practical and cost-effective solutions to meet the changing and exacting requirements of Building and Technical Insulation Regulations for a range of building envelope applications.

The business is growing and has an opportunity for dedicated internal sales professional to join their customer focussed team at the Birmingham branch. The company believes its people are its biggest asset and is committed to regular personal and product training to maintain its high standards.

The Role

Working as part of a small, enthusiastic team dedicated to providing first-class customer service, you will deliver new business sales and existing customer account service and development to help drive profitable sales for the branch and to the benefit of the wider business. You will engage positively and proactively with all members of the branch team and also forge strong working relationships with colleagues across the business within the branch network.

Main Responsibilities

· Finding and developing business opportunities by prospecting new business and development existing customer relationships.

· Keeping detailed and up to date sales record of existing and future sales opportunities.

· Promote the company and brand image in a professional confident manner.

Skills and Experience

· Able to demonstrate relationship building across all disciplines.

· Knowledge/understanding of the construction materials market.

· Ability to work as a pro-active team player with a positive attitude.

· Understanding of the building envelope product sector.

· Internal sales experience within the industry.

The Person

· Friendly, motivated, professional and willing to develop professional relationships.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to listen patiently and focus on technical requirements.

· Ability to impart relevant product information accurately.
