SOLIHULL: Brassware distributor Embrass successfully acquired the Peerless business as from 1 January 2010.

Bailey Peerless was formed in 2000 with both companies having a trading history of over 70 years. Cerro EMS then acquired it in 2001.  Bailey Peerless supply OEM, distribution and the merchant trade with waste fittings for Kitchens and Bathrooms.

Both Embrass & Peerless facilities will re-locate to a state of the art warehouse and offices in Shirley on 22 March 2010 and trade as Embrass Peerless.

Embrass Peerless have an array of personnel from within the industry including Paul Barratt (Founder of Brassware Sales), Chris Nicol (Founder of East Midlands Brassware) , Ian Barratt, Scott O’Neill and John Palmer.

“We are looking to expand our business significantly within the next 12 months. The market place is looking for an alternative, Independent distributor to compete with the big names and we feel that we are in a strong position to do so," says Paul Barratt.

A new catalogue will be launched in April 2010 with both plumbing Brasssware and Peerless wastes, all of which will be available from stock and delivered next day.
