RGB Building Supplies is leaving the PHG, but Bristol Building Supplies will be joining from January next year.

RGB said it wished to replace its plumbing and heating purchases through the Fortis purchasing group, a decision which it said supports its best interests.

All RGB’s purchases within PHG will cease on 31st December, except for Instinct products, which under PHG rules extends the right to continue to purchase and sell the Instinct range until 30 June 2019.

RGB were a founding member of PHG in 2012, and the group thanked CEO Kevin Fenlon for his “positive support of the PHG ethos, and his company’s consistent commitment to the PHG purchasing direction. “

Fenlon said he would like to thank PHG for the contribution the group have made to the success of the RGB Plumbing & Heating business, and that he wished PHG all the best for the future.

Bristol Building Supplies will be joining the group from 1 January, and Managing Director Lee Hooper said he was “delighted” to become a member.

PHG Chairman David Pochin said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Lee and his team to PHG.

“We look forward to working with them as they will bring commitment, energy and experience to the PHG table and they recognise and value the opportunities membership offers to support the continuing growth of their business”.
