Salary: £34,000- £38,000 D.O.E + Uncapped Commission

 

Our client is a highly regarded manufacturer of innovative and dynamic Plumbing, Heating and Sanitaryware products. Their products bring both style and safety to the Domestic, Healthcare, Leisure and Educational Sectors. With measures in place to constantly monitor their environmental performance they are proud to be a certified carbon neutral company.

Due to their ongoing success within the marketplace they are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to cover the South East Area selling into the Merchants sector.

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

The role

To actively develop existing and new customers to meet and exceed agreed targets, ensuring product and profitability guidelines are met.

To promote the company’s products with customers to generate further business.

Responsibilities

· To actively develop new business to meet sales strategy and targets

· Ongoing research of the market, customer, products, prices and report to Regional Sales Manager

· To ensure the company image and customer service standards are maintained

· To effectively communicate within and across departments

· Ensure all reports, appointments etc are recorded on the CRM

· To attend all relevant meetings to meet the needs of the business and position

· To set monthly objective and meet sales targets and strategy

· To produce customer quotations ensuring pricing policy and structure is maintained

· To ensure customer product training is carried out effectively

· To ensure compliance with Health and Safety policy and procedures

Experience and Skills required

· Experience required in Plumbing/Heating/Sanitaryware products

· Experience selling into the Plumbers Merchants sector

· Confident and Professional in Attitude

· Honest and Trustworthy

· Self motivating with good call planning technique

· Energetic with the enthusiasm to succeed.

· Able to deal with all levels of branch personnel

· I.T. Literate
