Encouraging and empowering staff is top of the agenda for Keyline’s new Business Development Manager.

The civils and drainage supplier has appointed Chris Metcalf to cover Geotechnics in Scotland and the North.

Metcalf has more than 24 years’ experience in sales and management. He was a Business Distribution Partner for geotextile manufacturer Tensar, managing accounts for three UK distributors including Keyline.

His role at Keyline is to supply customers with the best solutions to their problems, while ensuring sustainability is an integral part of every project he oversees.

He said: “I’m excited to be working for Keyline as the company grows further as an industry leader.

“Keyline embodies inspiration, from its sustainability initiative, Zero to Landfill, to its legacy and focus on empowering staff to make a difference – Keyline goes above and beyond, whilst still maintaining a successful business.

“It’s all about empowering staff to make a difference and be the best in their field, and providing them with the right tools and necessary knowledge to achieve this goal.”
