A Lincolnshire-based builders’ merchant has become the latest addition to the National Buying Group’s roster.
Builders’ Merchant Company has three branches in Scunthorpe, Hull and Rotherham.
The NBG, a buying group for independent merchants, has welcomed it due to its “strong commitment to growth, service, quality and innovation.”
The merchant opened in 1930s and has plans in the pipeline to expand to five branches in the next five years.
Managing Director Duncan Thompson believes NBG will play a crucial part in enabling this to happen. He said: “Joining NBG will help us take the business to another level and it feels like NBG is the natural progression for our company.
“As well as the deals, I’m really looking forward to being able to share information, best practice and ideas with other builders’ merchants: it’s good to talk!”
