Nominations are open for a campaign that gives local groups and charity projects £500 towards their cause.

Residents of Sussex and Surrey can nominate deserving charities and community groups, and a public vote will decide the winner in September.

This is the third round of builders’ merchant D.W. Nye’s ‘Proud to be Local’ campaign.

Rex Nye, Managing Director of D.W Nye, said: “We are delighted to be offering charities and community groups across the counties a further chance to win £500 funding for their cause.

“We hope to receive as many nominations as possible. The top three will be put forward for a public vote to decide our winner.”
