Automating a Garador canopy garage door is now a much simpler process, with the introduction of Garador’s GaraMatic Canopy Operator.
This new operator has been engineered specifically to work with Garador’s up and over garage doors that have canopy lifting gear, and is easy to retrofit to existing up and over garage doors.
The GaraMatic Canopy operator is supplied with an operator unit and boom, but it also features a new device in the form of an activating arm which sits behind the top edge of the garage door. This means that there is full opening height, with no obstructions as was previously the case with a bow arm conversion, and it is therefore possible to drive a car into the garage with full drive through height.
Furthermore, with the GaraMatic Canopy the garage door also opens and closes in manual mode, an additional benefit to those who may wish to move the door manually from time to time.
