If so, we are retained by a leading INDEPENDENT BUILDERS MERCHANT who, due to continued success, are seeking to recruit a professional SALES MANAGER to join their team in Lincolnshire.

The Individual

An experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities for our Client’s products. The ideal candidate will have sales experience within the construction industry coupled with experience in mentoring and leading a team.

Proven track record in delivering sales growth within the construction industry is a must along with the ability to identify possible business opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Building and developing relationships with key customers whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service.

· Meet and exceed agreed sales and gross profit targets

· Continuously update customer and market knowledge

· Work with the branch to identify business opportunities

· Mentoring and leading a small team of sales representatives

· Work with key suppliers to target potential customers

Person Specification

· Understanding of Construction Industry routines

· Strategic thinker with the ability to demonstrate drive and self-motivation

· Good organisational and time management skills

· Experience in mentoring and leading a team

· Proven results through sales growth

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Sufficient IT skills to interrogate and update the company’s electronic database

· Driving licence

Training

All necessary training in relevant aspects of our Client’s business will be provided as required.
