Staff at LochAnna Kitchens have raised £600 for the Stroke Association, a charity close to their hearts.

Employees held a series of events, including a ‘Curry and Cake day’ during which employees volunteered to cook curries and cakes for members of staff to purchase for their lunch. Suppliers and local businesses also joined the charitable spirit by offering prize donations for a raffle held on 30 May, for which more than 30 prizes were donated.

Sinead Trainor, Category Manager at LochAnna, said: “We would like to thank the companies who donated, our employees, and their family and friends for being so generous and helping us raise a grand total of £600.”

“This is a charity close to everyone’s hearts at LochAnna Kitchens. The wife of one of our employees sadly suffered a stroke in December 2017 and the Stroke Association has been invaluable in helping during her long road to recovery. It has been very uplifting to see the team come together and raise this money for this amazing charity. We were delighted when we found out we had raised over £600.”
