Our Client is one of the Europe's leading manufacturers of innovative Building Products who, due to expansion, are looking to appoint a National Field Sales Manager.

Our Clients products are very high quality whilst being competitively priced and are primarily supplied via Builders Merchants and Specialist Distributors.

Reporting To

Commercial Sales Director

The Role

You will be responsible for assisting and developing the External Sales Force (currently 10 no.) by identifying key areas for improvement and training requirements and implementing agreeing strategies to assist them in their duties along with setting and monitoring key performance indicators and reporting information and strategies adopted to the Commercial Sales Director.

Ideally you will be currently in a role that involves sales of products both National and Independent Builders Merchants and Distributors on a National Basis and be able to demonstrate successful trading relationships with the major groups throughout the UK, along with having successful trading experience of Buying Groups etc.

The Person

You will be self-motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative and a desire to bring your previous commercial expertise to effective use in the commercial arena.

Ideally, you will have a background in Tools, Fixings or Consumable products.

Our Client is willing to consider Candidates who have the required experience and success at Regional or National level and are seeking to further their career and secure a Management Role.

As this is a National Field Sales Manager role you will be required to spend an amount of time in each geographical region of the UK, therefore you should be prepared to stay away from home as required.
