We are retained by a leading supplier of Geosynthetics who, due to continued success in the marketplace, are seeking to expand their sales team with the appointment of a professional Technical Sales Manager for Major Projects across the United Kingdom.

The Role

The key focus for this role is to research and gain introductions to client, designer, contractor and supply chain for designated major projects. The aim is to identify and demonstrate potential solutions and services adding value to projects and utilising all appropriate aspects of products and services available. Whilst the role could be based from a home office or our Client’s office, there is a requirement to travel throughout the UK including overnight stays.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Understand our Client’s plan and philosophy

· Achieve personal and teams targets

· Maintain and update CRM system

· Develop new and existing targeted accounts

· Embrace customer care policy

· Provide technical presentations

· Identify solution sales opportunities

· Assist with implementation of sales and marketing strategies

· Monthly report to Business Development Director

· Provide Sales Forecast

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

· Minimum 5 years technical sales experience gained in civils / construction material sector

· Knowledge of the specification process

· Experience of conducting CPD Presentations

· Excellent presenting skills

· Ability to organise own diary effectively

· Self motivated

· Willing to travel throughout the UK with nights away
