TEESSIDE: JT Dove enlisted the help of an 11-year-old to design part of the landscaping display in its £1.5m Teesside outlet redevelopment.
Dove set children from Norton Nursery and Kids Zone After-School Club, a challenge to design part of its landscaping display.
Gabrielle Oxley was the senior designer of the block-paving section, alongside competition runner up, eight year-old Kyle Parkin,
Martin Jakolins, branch manager said: "The children had such a brilliant time during their visit to the branch, we decided to run a competition.
"The designs produced by the children were packed full of colour and imagination, so it was difficult to choose the winner. We settled on Gabrielle's design because not only was it vibrant and well thought-out, but it lent itself particularly well to being transformed into the actual design of the block paving section."
