This year’s 4th Annual Parker Building Supplies Charity Golf Day, trade morning and celebratory dinner, has matched last year’s record breaking sum and raised an amazing £25,000 for its Partner Charity Teenage Cancer Trust.
The event, which saw the places for the golf challenges sell out within days, was held at the east Sussex national golf resort on Friday 14th July. More than 300 people, including staff, management, suppliers, customers and their guests, attended.
For the first time at the trade event, Parkers’ Pop-Up Shop opened for business, offering one day-only deals on stock clearance items.
Fuelled with bacon sandwiches and mugs of tea, this was followed by team, individual, longest drive and nearest the pin competitions on the resort’s two championship golf courses with 44 fourball team.
The evening event, which included a four course meal and auction of sporting memorabilia, gave our golfers and guests the opportunity to network with staff and suppliers, including with Heart FM breakfast presenter Jack the Lad who hosting the event.
