Human Resources Manager – RGB Building Supplies

RGB is an independent, family-owned builders’ merchant based in the south west, in business since 1850 and currently with 20 branches employing more than 350 staff.

Due to continued growth, and further anticipated expansion and diversification, the company has conducted a review, which has resulted in new positions being required. All roles will require travel throughout the south west region.

RGB is looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager, who will report directly to the HR Director. The HR Manager will be responsible for delivering the HR strategy throughout the branch network while providing expert advice and support on all HR matters.

A generalist HR background is preferable, although experience of learning and development would also be useful. This role requires a good understanding of employment legislation, knowledge of HR and payroll processes and procedures, as well as proven people management skills. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a balanced communicative approach, with the ability to work with all levels of staff.
