Kent Blaxill has appointed two Area Managers to ensure the smooth operating of its growing branch network, which currently comprises 13 stores.

A further two branches are scheduled to open this year – in Kings Lynn and Milton Keynes.

Jane Collins, who joined the company as the Melton Branch Manager in 2012 and subsequently became responsible for the Ipswich and Sudbury branches, will now be in overall charge of the company’s seven Suffolk and Norfolk branches – at Norwich, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Fakenham and Melton.

Dean Jackson has now begun managing the three Essex branches – Chelmsford, Braintree and Saffron Walden – as well as stores at Stamford, Milton Keynes and Huntingdon as Kent Blaxill expands westward outside its East Anglian heartland. Dean has extensive experience of the building supplies market, having worked previously for Mitie, Dulux and the Crown contract team.

James Park, Commercial Director, said: “Jane and Dean have considerable sales and management skills and are passionate about customers enjoying the Kent Blaxill experience. As Kent Blaxill opens in towns where we are less well known, we want every customer to enjoy the same level of service.

“Our success is built on having happy customers who enjoy knowledgeable and friendly staff, good stock availability and a nice cup of coffee.”
