A group of employees from TIMco have raised more than £4,500 for Claire House Children’s Hospice by completing a 50-mile Chester bike ride.

The team, made up of more than 20 employees as well as friends and family, met early morning on 2 July at Chester’s Countess of Chester Hospital to head off on a gruelling 50-mile ride through the leafy lanes of the Cheshire countryside.

Simon Midwood, Managing Director of TIMco, said: “It was a fantastic and well organised event and great to see such a strong turnout from TIMco. The team put in a huge amount of effort to get fit for the day and we’re delighted to have been able to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause.”

Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children through specialist nursing and emotional support. Based in Bebington, Wirral the centre treats more than 44,000 patients a year. Further donations can be made to ‘TeamTIMco’ at www.JustGiving.com.
