Independent plumbing and heating merchant Pochin has expanded into a new product category, stocking boiler spares for a range of the most popular boiler brands.

To meet a growing demand from heating engineers for parts for repairs, Pochin is introducing the category to four of its trade counters in Leicester, Hinckley and Stourbridge.

Brands whose parts are stocked are Worcester, Bosch Group, Baxi, Vaillant, Ideal, Alpha and Glow Worm. The parts range from PCBs to pressure relief valves, expansion vessels to heat exchangers. Each trade counter carries more than 150 product lines.

Pochin’s Commercial Director, Simon Froggatt, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this additional service to our heating installer customers. Having a large number of spares in stock for these key brands – for new and past models of boilers – means our customers know they can quickly get the parts they need at the time they need them – for most, that means today.

“We’ve developed the pool of knowledge within our teams so heating engineers get the right part first time. Boiler parts are a huge product category and we’re confident engineers will come back to us again and again.”
