Gripsure has appointed Dean Gosling as production supervisor, Andris Klebahs as production operative, Kevin Davis as production assistant, and Jed Brokenshire has been promoted to production manager.

Gripsure’s expansion is the result of increased sales through Homebase and other merchants, as well as to architects and contractors. In the last 12 months Gripsure has supplied its anti-slip decking to a growing number of high profile customers including Go Ape, De Vere Hotels, Kew Gardens and Centre Parcs. The firm is also extending its global reach, with an expanding customer base in Sweden, France and Ireland.

Gripsure managing director Mike Nicholson said: “This is a very exciting time for Gripsure. Our decking is now available in 160 Homebase stores across the UK and we have secured a number of new contracts with merchants. Meanwhile, our reputation is growing among architects and contractors and we are continuing to win contracts with schools, hotels and visitor attractions.

“While the UK market remains very strong, our ambition is global and we are expanding in Europe. The new recruits will help ensure we maintain the highest levels of service and quality as we grow the business.”
