LBS Builders' Merchants is named Business of the Year (150+ Employees) for the second year running at the 2017 Swansea Bay Business Awards.

The merchant was shortlisted alongside Lyte Industries, Hornbill Engineering and CEM Day Ltd, before being crowned winners at a ceremony at Brangwyn Hall, Swansea on 3rd March.

LBS was represented at the event by 20 people.

Managing director Mark Davies said: "We are hugely proud to be recognised by the strong business community in South and West Wales as winners of our category. I truly believe that this is a reflection of our combined efforts of investing in business growth while providing award-winning levels of service. This award is a testament to our team work and we are thrilled to be crowned as winners against such stiff competition."

This award win follows a successful end to 2016 for LBS, which was named 'Best Independent Builders Merchant (11 – 25 Branches)' for the fourth time at the BMN Awards.

Mr Davies concluded: "As an independent Welsh business, LBS is proud to be recognised by its peers across the UK. The awards reflect the continued investment in our LBS colleagues, creating award-winning levels of customer service and sustained growth across the wide range of sectors we now trade in."
