Builders’ merchant, Chadwicks, has undergone a major refurbishment as part of its business growth strategy.

The overhaul of the Blackpool-based builders' merchant has included radical changes to the exterior, such new cladding to the walls, improved signage, as well as replacement windows.

Meanwhile, the internal changes include the complete refurbishment of the kitchen showroom that now boasts 17 displays including modern, traditional and shaker kitchens, alongside top range appliances, as well as an extensive range of worktops.

The joinery showroom has been upgraded to include a range of internal and external doors, hardwood and laminate flooring, as well as a range of made to measure cupboard doors. The hardware department has undergone a re-merchandising programme that has seen improvements to numerous product ranges including ironmongery, handtools, fixings and sealants.

The branch specialises in supplying the likes of timber and sheets, kitchens, hardware, and doors and joinery. Additionally, with the relocation of Blackpool Power Tools, which has been supplying professional tools and equipment since 1985, into the branch, Chadwicks is now able to provide a one-stop-shop service for builders and trade professionals in the area.

Steve Hanson, branch manager, said: “We have an ambitious plan to grow the business, which is why we have invested so much time and resources into this refurbishment project.
