Building Adhesives has recently appointed David Hackett as general manager.
Formerly sales and marketing director, Mr Hackett now takes full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business.
As a founding pioneer of tile installation systems in the UK market, the significance of this heritage remains a key driver for the BAL and Dunlop businesses.
Mr Hackett said: “The market leadership that Building Adhesives enjoys is due to great people, innovative products and a fantastic customer base throughout the UK, all of which are continually evolving to suit the challenges of the day.”
The role of sales and marketing director will remain under Mr Hackett’s control to continue an active day-to-day involvement in the customer facing side of the business. Peter Bell will remain managing director of the ARDEX Group UK businesses.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr Bell said: “Brexit clearly makes for uncertain times, but the fundamentals remain strong in the UK. I’m sure the high degree of focus from David as general manager will continue to put Building Adhesives in a strong position to meet the needs of the market.”
