A team from Solarlux Systems has recently undertaken a cycling journey from their UK office in Welwyn Garden City to the company’s new headquarters in Melle, Germany. The ‘The Crazy British Cycling Tour’ saw the Solarlux team begin on 3 September, reaching their final destination in Germany on 6 September.

Gary Newbold, who organised and participated in the testing challenge, said: ”We took on the 600km tour to support the fantastic work of the Make A Wish Foundation. The charity grants wishes to children suffering with life threatening conditions, so we were keen to do what we could to raise funds for this brilliant cause. The cycling tour saw us in the saddle for a gruelling 150km and coincided with the official opening of our new factory in Germany, so it seemed a worthwhile way of marking the occasion.”
