Werner hits bullseye with sponsorship deal

Werner has announced that it will be continuing to sponsor Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, following a successful partnership in 2015 with the 16 time darts World Champion. The renewed sponsorship deal is the third year for the partnership designed to promote the Werner brand to professional installers, trade audiences and end consumers.

As part of the deal, Mr Taylor will become a brand ambassador for Werner, making special guest appearances at trade shows throughout the year and challenging visitors to a game of Werner’s famous gravity darts, where players aim a dart at a board on the floor whilst standing on a Werner Podium Ladder.

“We are delighted to renew our sponsorship with Mr Taylor,” said Joanne Mitchell, marketing manager at Werner. “He is a real favourite with darts fans around the world, so it is great for the Werner brand to be aligned with such a popular and successful sports personality. Being a keen DIYer himself, Mr Taylor is also a fan of our products and will be making guest appearances at trade shows throughout the year.”
