Kraig Seymour, the newly promoted yard sales manager of the recently opened Weybridge Champion Timber branch, has completed a 100m abseil of the Spinnaker Tower for charity.

He said: “I was feeling fine about the abseil until the morning of the challenge and then I became nervous. I’m very thankful that my wife Leanne and my two kids came along to support me on the day, it really helped me to feel brave.

“I could hear Noah yelling when I was abseiling down which spurred me on. The next challenge, a 10,000 foot sky dive, should be even more exhilarating and nerve-wracking so I am urging people to sponsor me however much they can so I can raise as much for this great cause as possible.”

Mr Seymour has chosen to fundraise for local Surrey cause Shooting Star Chase. This children’s hospice charity cares for children with life-limiting conditions, and their families. The cause can still be sponsored in-branch, as well as online at his Just Giving page.
