On 24 June, the Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, Andrew Coombe, visited the Cawthorne manufacturing facilities of Naylor Drainage, to see first hand Naylor's extensive Clay and Plastic pipe manufacturing facilities and meet many of Naylor's 380 employees.

The Lord-Lieutenant represents Her Majesty the Queen in South Yorkshire and, on Her behalf, takes an interest in the business, industrial and social life of his county.

Naylor's Yorkshire Flowerpot Company is the UK's largest manufacturer of terracotta garden pots, and the Lord-Lieutenant was presented with two specially engraved pots as a memento of his visit.
