The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and, in recognition of its history, the CPA is continuing its long-term support of the Lighthouse Club Charity, which is celebrating 60 years of delivering financial and welfare support to construction workers and their families.

The Lighthouse Club has lined up a whole host of events and challenges for its 60th year, to help fund its work within the construction industry, and one of the first in the calendar this summer is the Lighthouse Club Summer Ball in July. As part of the CPA’s celebrations, there will be up to five tables offered at a discounted rate so that members can join the double anniversary festivities.

Bill Hill, chief executive of the Lighthouse Club Charity, said: “We are delighted to be hosting the CPA’s 75th anniversary celebrations. Their long term support is very much appreciated and they are also supporting our 60th anniversary campaign, ‘One Day…to help our own’ by pledging to hold a Lighthouse Day event to raise further funds for the charity.”
