Selco Builders Warehouse has revealed it will continue its strong growth strategy, revealing more new branches planned for 2016 and beyond.

Speaking at the opening of the Watford branch, the 41st branch in the company’s network, the CEO of Selco, Chris Cunliffe, said the company would open at least five more branches before the end of the year.

He said: “The Watford launch is a massive landmark for Selco. We’ve passed the 40 branches mark and Watford signals the first opening of our next target of 50 locations. We start 2016 confident that we can meet this targe, 2015 was our best year with records broken but we are an ambitious business and we won’t rest on our laurels. We are currently working on new locations for 2017 to ensure we maintain our momentum for growth and reach our target.”

Mr Cunliffe announced that Chessington, Wolverhampton, Portsmouth, South Croydon and Crayford are all opening in 2016 with more planned for 2017.

At the Watford opening Selco donated a total of £3,000 to three local causes: homeless support charity New Hope, Watford Rape Crisis & Sexual Assault Centre and Watford & District Mencap.
