Covers in Chichester has raised £310 for Aldingbourne Trust by taking part in its Wear Green Day on 26 February.
Staff at the timber and builders’ merchants on Quarry Lane supported the cause by turning up to work in various items of green clothing and baking green cakes to sell to their customers and other staff.
Aldingbourne Trust is dedicated to helping adults with learning disabilities to lead enriched and fulfilling lives by unlocking their potential through education, training and specialist care, and building strong partnerships with local businesses and employers.
Covers Chichester trade centre manager Martyn Beck said: “Aldingbourne Trust does incredible work for our community. We are delighted to be able to support them by taking part in the Wear Green Day and contributing funds so that they can continue to provide their important service to people with learning disabilities.”
