LG appoints new director

Published:  13 January, 2016

LG Electronics has appointed a new director of air conditioning and energy solutions, based at its head office in Brooklands, Surrey.

Andy Reed joins LG from his role as business director at Dean and Wood, the national air conditioning and refrigeration wholesaler. He worked with Dean and Wood in the early 1990s as technical sales director before joining Danfoss as sales director, working his way up to vice president sales – Europe and then in 2005 to the role of global head of sales programme. He left Danfoss and moved back to Dean and Wood in 2012 joining the company as business director.

“I have been fortunate to always work for market leaders who focus and invest in product innovation, services and people, and this move is a continuation of that theme,” Mr Reed said. “These are very exciting times for LG and I’m delighted having worked with LG as a customer for several years to be given the opportunity of leading this excellent team in the months and years ahead. I know the LG products, I know the LG team and I’m confident we can build on the rapid growth that LG has experienced in recent years in the air conditioning, heating and renewables fields.”
