Pegler Yorkshire welcomes new appointment to drive growth

Pegler Yorkshire has reinforced its internal marketing and product development team with the appointment of a new market manager to drive forward growth and innovation in this sector.
The UK plumbing and heating manufacturer has appointed Mike Johnson to manage, market and develop its washroom division, which encompasses commercial and domestic taps and appliances including the Francis Pegler brand.
“I have several years experience in a variety of sectors including manufacturing and am familiar with the route to market that Pegler Yorkshire uses through a network of approved distributors,” said Mr Johnson. “It is a natural transference of skills and I am looking forward to working for such a renowned brand and with a dynamic team.”
Mr Johnson joins a team headed by marketing and business development manager Phill Jackson, which sees each manager assuming responsibility for various brands and products in the Pegler Yorkshire portfolio.
“We are pleased Mike chose Pegler Yorkshire to further his career and look forward to the experience he will bring to the role in consolidating and developing some of our most iconic brands in commercial, healthcare and domestic markets,” said Mr Jackson. “We already have great plans for 2016 with the re-development of our Performa range, and the enhancement of our Francis Pegler website.”
Francis Pegler, the domestic taps brand by the manufacturer, has its own dedicated e-commerce site, supported by key distributors, where consumers and contractors can buy direct. Performa, another of Mr Johnson’s brands is one of the leading names in the healthcare industry and is associated with contactless and anti-microbial taps to help with infection control and healthcare policies.
