Brett Landscaping appoints new managing director

Brett Landscaping and Building Products has announced the appointment of Alastair Forbes as its new managing director.

Mr Forbes, who joined the company at the beginning of this month, will take over the role of managing director from Alan Smith who has been promoted to become the chief operating officer of the Brett Group.

Having worked for over 30 year’s across a variety of functions within the building products sector, Mr Forbes brings a wealth of experience, from sales and production to management, to his new role.

“Brett Landscaping is synonymous with quality and excellent service and it is this reputation which attracted me to the role,” explained Mr Forbes. “There is also a fantastic opportunity for growth and development and I believe I am joining the company at a very exciting time. I am very much looking forward to taking Brett forward into what I’m sure is an extremely bright future.”

Mr Smith added: “Although I am sad to be leaving Brett Landscaping for an exciting new role within the Brett Group, we are delighted to welcome Alastair to Brett Landscaping. He brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge, which we believe will be invaluable to the company, helping to support and develop Brett Landscaping in the years ahead.”
