Scruffs tour will test endurance of its 'super dealers'
Published: 16 October, 2015
Scruffs has embarked on a month-long UK roadshow to celebrate the top ten 'Scruffsenough Super Dealers' in the country.
Events will take place in 10 towns and cities, with visiting tradesmen jumping on board the Scruffs-mobile to take part in a MotoGP challenge to win £200 cash, to check out the latest new season product launches and play the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ to win Scruffs branded freebies.
Tradesmen are also invited to test their staying power with a Scruffsenough ‘hang tough’ challenge to raise money for local charities that challenges participants hang in the air for as long as possible, supported only by a pair of Scruffs 3D trade trousers. For everyone willing to give it a try, Scruffs says it will donate to a local good cause. The contestant able to hang for the longest duration over the course of the tour will also win an iPod.
The top ten Scruffsenough Super Dealers have been selected following a nationwide hunt, with criteria including annual spend on Scruffs and dedicated Scruffs merchandising space. Full day events celebrating the partnerships are taking place at dealers until the 16 November. Super Dealer locations confirmed include:
- Blueprint Designs - Rugely, Staffordshire
- The Toolbox Supply Co. - Cleveland
- Phoenix Tools - Devon
- MJ Plastics Ltd - Kent
- Tool Monkey - Leighton Buzzard
- C&C Supplies - Preston
- All Tools Ltd - Sheffield
- Elliott’s Tool Centre, Hampshire
Chris Mellor-Dolman, head of Scruffs marketing, said: “The Scruffs Super Dealers have been selected following a six month selection process. They have been selected because of their hard work, unwavering belief in the Scruffs brand and their Scruffsenough attitude to hard work.
“Each dealer selected will receive an on-going support package of powerful, business-boosting initiatives including exclusive product and marketing workshops, national advertising campaigns with massive reach to create demand, striking new in-store merchandising solutions, and a consistent supply of printed and digital assets including catalogues and videos.”
