Nine Huws Gray employees have completed a tandem sky dive at Whitchurch to raise essential funding for Hope House Children's Hospices.

After months of anticipation and build up to the big day, the Huws Gray team took on the sky dive on 19 September. Among the group were Colin, Thomas, Matthew, Paul, Gary, Steven and Karl from the Caernarfon branch, Owain Williams from its health and safety department, and Rob Hughes from the company's Wrexham branch.

A team spokesman said: "We had a fantastic day, it's an unforgettable experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The most exhilarating part is when you're in the plane looking down and ready to jump, there is no turning back once you're out of the plane. Freefalling in the sky was an amazing experience, we’re glad we can support the fantastic work they do at Hope House Children's Hospices."

The team have raised nearly £4,000 for the hospice. To sponsor the team please visit: www.justgiving.com/caernrfon09/
