Gorilla Glue UK has launched a new variant of the popular Gorilla Tape brand, to create more choice for the consumer.

Now available in silver, the tough triple layered tape is a robust alternative to traditional duct tape and the new colour, which is regularly used in the insulation industry, will highlight the product’s versatility, including its suitability for use on metal surfaces.

Simon Damp, Managing Director at Gorilla Glue Europe said: “We’re always looking for new ways to give the consumer more choice when it comes to our products, offering different colours and sizes. By adding another colour to the already successful Gorilla Tape range, we hope to increase its popularity and see more and more people reaching for it.”

Already available in the flagship black, as well as camo, white and clear repair, the Gorilla Tape silver variant is available in a 32 metre roll and will launch in B&Q stores across the UK from September 2015. Forming a strong bond with both rough and smooth surfaces, the unique nature of the tape allows it to stick to uneven surfaces including wood, stone, plaster and brick.

Constructed from three separate layers with a double thick adhesive, the product’s tough mesh backing adds extra strength, making Gorilla Tape suitable for a range of DIY and home improvement applications. The all-weather shell withstands moisture, UV rays and extremes of temperature masking the changeable UK weather the perfect market for the growing international brand.

Gorilla Tape silver will be available in a 32m roll, RRP £10.99.
