Indesit Company has announced the appointment to marketing roles of Fiona Hope and Piero Pracchi within the company's marketing departments.

Mr Pracchi, previously marketing director for UK & Ireland, has been promoted to senior director of brand & digital marketing [EMEA], a move the company says comes in recognition of his UK success.

His new role brings an opportunity for the company to reflect its UK experience in the evolution of its brands.

Ms Hope has been appointed marketing director for UK & Ireland, and will be leading the marketing department with Mr Pracchi.

She joins Indesit Company with strong brand and consumer experience gained from her role as managing director with SodaStream. She also previously held a series of marketing roles within Coca-Cola.

Ms Hope said: “I’m very much looking forward to becoming an integral part of the team at Indesit Company and using previous my experience to continue to drive growth and market share. This is an exciting time for the company, which now includes a variety of brands from entry to premium, and I believe I can bring real value to the company at this key time.”

Mr Pracchi said: “We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Fiona Hope as the new marketing director for UK & Ireland for Indesit Company.

“Her experience and results with SodaStream give us real confidence in her ability to continue the success that Indesit Company has within these key markets. I’m looking forward to the next challenge within Indesit Company at EMEA level and the extra responsibilities it brings.”
