Two new appointments for Rodo

Published:  30 July, 2015

Rodo, supplier of decorating sundries, workwear and PPE, has announced two new appointments to join its field sales team.

Kevin Newport has been appointed the new regional account manager for north west London, Leicestershire and the home counties.

With experience of selling leading brands, including Dyson vacuums and Lexmark printers into both trade and retail merchant sectors, he brings a track record in field sales that will stand him in excellent stead for his role at Rodo.

Mr Newport said: “Rodo has an excellent reputation in the merchant market, together with strong brands. Using my experience from dealing with leading brands in similar hardware-based industries, I hope to be able to further strengthen Rodo’s position as well as extending into new stockists.”

Shaun Mills has joined the team as regional account manager for south Wales and the West Midlands. Mr Mills’ track record includes industry experience from his time working for a decorating sundries supplier.

“Having worked in the market I’m well aware of Rodo and its brands. The breadth of the product range, from entry level to premium products, is a real strength and a significant plus for stockists. I’m delighted to join the Rodo team and believe that my experience will help me make a difference,” said Mr Mills.

Rodo’s sales director, Colin Thomason, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have Kevin and Shaun onboard. They bring with them a healthy mix of experience from both inside and outside our market, and we look forward to them making their mark here at Rodo.”
