Angela Rushforth, formerly group managing director at Ridgeons, has left the company to take up a new role at a national builders' merchant.
Rodney Baker-Bates, Ridgeons' non-executive chairman, has taken operational responsibility for an interim period until a replacement is appointed.
Mr Baker-Bates said: "The board has been working on a robust three-year strategy, ensuring a positive future for Ridgeons. We will continue to forge ahead with our plans for growth. Ridgeons is a leading independent builders' merchant based in the East of England. In addition to 26 merchant branches the Group also includes Ridgeons Forest Products, CRS Wholesale and Anglia Tool Centres.
