Race day prize for Durox building block customers

Published:  23 June, 2015

A racing day is being offered as a prize to architects, house builders, merchants and contractors around Linford, Essex to reward customers of Tarmac Building Products.

The Brands Hatch and Bedford Autodome events will include timed laps of the track, advanced driving tuition with an expert and the chance to tackle tough terrain in a Land Rover Defender.

The Durox line of products has been produced at the Tarmac Building Products factory in Linford for over 60 years.

One lucky architect and housebuilder will each win a pair of tickets to the world-famous Brands Hatch track, while one contractor plus their guest will receive tickets to Bedford Autodrome.

South East-based merchants are required to order a free promotional point of sale pack from the Durox website to have a chance of winning. Merchants that increase sales of Durox by 20% or more over July and August, 2015, compared to May and June, 2015, will also be entered into a draw to win four tickets to an additional track day at Bedford Autodrome.

Eve Marsh, marketing communications manager at Tarmac Building Products, said: “Speed and easy handling are the key selling points of Durox blocks for merchants and the reason why it’s favoured by architects, housebuilders, and contractors. It therefore made perfect sense to reward customers and suppliers who live and work near the Linford Durox factory and throughout the South East by offering them the chance to win a thrilling day at the race track.”
